The volumes of affiliates' annual reports published by FIAF from the late 1960s
Affiliates' Historical Annual Reports
From the very early days of FIAF, it was made compulsory for its affiliates to provide annual reports of their activities ahead of each Congress. These were archived systematically from 1952, although a few earlier ones can be found in FIAF’s Historical Archive. It was decided to also include Annual Reports provided by non-affiliated institutions attending the FIAF Congress as guests, mainly in the 1950s and early 1960s.
From the late 1960s, FIAF published full volumes of all the Annual Reports received from its affiliates. These historical Annual Reports – an invaluable source of information about FIAF affiliates and the film archiving field generally – are being digitized and made available on this page of the FIAF website progressively.
Note that the most recent of our affiliates’ Annual Reports (after 2010) are available HERE to members of the FIAF community only.
The names of the institutions listed below are those indicated in their Annual Report. When this name defers from the official name of the institution at the time, the official name is indicated in square brackets.
