P.I.P. Mission Statement
- FIAF’s Periodicals Indexing Project (P.I.P.) actively supports FIAF’s objective to promote film culture and to facilitate historical research. The P.I.P. raises the public’s awareness of FIAF, through the presence of publications in libraries and institutions.
- The P.I.P. provides a reliable, regular, comprehensive service of high quality in the area of film periodical indexing, in order to aid film researchers and students to find material of current and retrospective value. The P.I.P. offers broad and easy access to quality-assured content through its publications and services.
- The P.I.P. supports FIAF affiliates by helping the archives collaborate and pool their resources on film journal indexing, as well as facilitating film research.
- The P.I.P. is also committed to serving the broader film community, scholars and film workers, assuring that their articles are cited in a professional, internationally recognized index available worldwide.
